Using Wi-Fi and NFC, it wirelessly connects to iOS or Android devices which act as a remote viewfinder and can be used to focus, adjust settings, and control the shutter. An updated PlayMemories app makes this easy with a new user interface, and offers faster connection speeds when pairing devices.</span></div>

Combined with the fact it uses interchangeable E-mount lenses, this should mean the QX1 produces the same sort of image quality as dedicated mirrorless cameras like the Sony A5000.</span></div>

Indeed, it has an ISO range of 100 to 16,000 and can also record Full HD 1080p video at 30 fps. It also contains a battery which is said to be good for 440 shots, a pop-up flash, and space for a microSD or Memory Stick Micro memory card.</span></div>

The QX1 measures 74.0 x 69.5 x 52.5 mm (2.9 x 2.7 x 2.1 in) before you've added the smartphone attachment or a lens, and weighs 216 g (7.6 oz).</span></div>

This time it's a 1/2.3-inch type 20.4-megapixel Exmor R CMOS sensor, paired with a 24-720-mm equivalent F3.5-F6.3 zoom lens. This 30x zoom gives the camera considerably more reach than previous models, which is why it's good news that optical image stabilization is on hand to reduce any wobble-induced blur.</span></div>

However, the QX30 boasts lock-on AF for tracking moving subjects, is capable of continuous shooting at up to 10 fps, and can record Full HD 1080 video at 60 fps.</span></div>

Its battery is said to be good for around 200 shots, and as with the QX1 it can shoot directly to the smart device, or a microSD or Memory Stick Micro memory card.</span></div>

All these companies will play a role in determining the standard that will become the fifth major generation in wireless communication, called affectionately, 5G.</span><br style="background-color: white; line-height: 21px; margin: 0px; padding: 0px;" /><br style="background-color: white; line-height: 21px; margin: 0px; padding: 0px;" /><span style="background-color: white; line-height: 21px;">Nokia is going to build a test network in Oulu, Finland early next year. As the data transfer test network develops, Nokia has also stated that it will share the APIs with invested partners and even competitors. The goal is to shape a new collaborative model. This is a good thing, as it will probably mean there will be fewer growing pains among any competing standards that may emerge.</span><br style="background-color: white; line-height: 21px; margin: 0px; padding: 0px;" /><br style="background-color: white; line-height: 21px; margin: 0px; padding: 0px;" /><span style="background-color: white; line-height: 21px;">There is no firm specification for what 5G will be. Most ideas appear unified to being able to provide 1,000 times the capacity of today’s LTE networks, and data throughput somewhere between 10 and 100 times the common data rate today. Energy consumption will definitely be part of the standard, with a goal to reduce it by as much as 90%. Expectations are also being made that latency will be reduced by about five times, end-to-end. Those are some impressive numbers to look forward to. It should mean data speeds in excess of 500Mbps, and latency in the sub-20-millisecond range.</span><br style="background-color: white; line-height: 21px; margin: 0px; padding: 0px;" /><br style="background-color: white; line-height: 21px; margin: 0px; padding: 0px;" /><span style="background-color: white; line-height: 21px;">Nokia has already been </span>in discussions with NTT DoCoMo<span style="background-color: white; line-height: 21px;"> about the next generation of wireless. But you know what, unless you have a printer right there on top of your desk, chances are you’re still going to have to get up out of your office chair to go and get your printed items. Now if you have an errand-boy or errand-girl to get your documents, that’s not a problem, but for most of us out there who aren’t so lucky, we still have to get up and walk to the printer several times a day. And while it’s great for exercise, it really cuts into the productivity after a while, and if multiple people are printing things at the same time, quite the traffic jam can happen around the printer. But what if the printer could just bring things to you after you hit the “print” button? That would solve the traffic jams, the productivity interruptions, and maybe most of all, it would just be neat to see. Well, thanks to a collaboration between Fuji and Xerox, <a href="http://www.bbc.com/news/technology-28977840" style="color: #0092dd;" target="_blank">there is now a robot printer out there who will do just that</a>.</span></div>

The camera will feature 1080p video at 60fps. The snapper has 5X digital zoom, continuous and touch to focus, and image stabilization.</span><br style="background-color: white; line-height: 21px; margin: 0px; padding: 0px;" /><br style="background-color: white; line-height: 21px; margin: 0px; padding: 0px;" /><span style="background-color: white; line-height: 21px;">No BlackBerry has ever hit the market so well spec'd. BlackBerry users in the past might have been happy with their phone for work, but many would have a second phone (an Apple iPhone or Android model) for play.
